Black Dog Design
Christina Newman set up Black Dog Design in 1996, after 18 years' experience in the educational publishing industry.
Her aim was and still is simple: to offer a friendly, efficient typesetting, design and print production service to every single one of her customers.
Christina offers a dedicated, flexible service that's based entirely around your needs. She'll come to you, or you can visit her, and she's always available for a chat about new projects, or how existing projects are going. Plus, with Black Dog Design,
you get a single point of contact – meaning less overheads
and more communication.
So how did Black Dog Design get its name?
Christina named Black Dog Design after her beloved Tibetan Terrier, Yamsho, who sadly died in 2007, aged 15.Yamsho brought a very calming, happy atmosphere to Christina's office, a sentiment the newest canine addition to the Black Dog team, Tashi, carries on to this day.
